An old-time, very rare, combination specimen from a classic New York locale - Olmstedville, Essex County. Sharp and lustrous, cream-colored scapolite crystals richly cover the starkly contrasting, lustrous, black, vesuvianite matrix. The sharp, doubly terminated scapolite crystal is 1.9 cm. Very seldom available. Ex. Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with an older, 1950s-60s, Burminco label.
