A specimen of milky quartz from the old Idarado Mine locality, and it is a really strange one. The sloping sides of the crystal show hundreds of microfaces, and then these faces end as the crystal sharply tapers up to the termination showing horizontal striations. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
