Another fine Dal'negorsk fluorite from a different time in the mining, when it was producing the famous "water-clear" crystals, sharp as razors. At the top of this specimen is a good example of one of these, which despite a little edge-wear shows very clearly why these are so famous for their clarity and sharpness. It measures 1.5 cm across. Smaller fluorites with various levels of clarity are scattered about. The matrix is finely-crystallized sphalerite.
