Dioptase
A pocket of large, fine dioptase crystals, removed intact! This fine dioptase specimen iso much prettier in person; dioptases can just be notoriously hard to shoot. The pocket goes very deep, about 4 cm in. The lustrous, LARGE, Tsumeb-green crystals you see inside this pocket actually make up most of the display face - the light made them look washed out towards the edge of the pocket so it does not appear to be as open and cave-like, and full of crystals, as it is in reality. In fact, this piece is GUARANTEED to make the winner happy in person or we will happily take it back. 9.5 x 6.0 x 5.7cm
