This plate features equant, gemmy purple apatite-(CaF) crystals, to 1 cm across, nestled in a quartz vug. These are HUGE for the locality, and very colorful as well both as individuals and overall as a specimen. Sharp, bladed crystals of fairfieldite are interspersed around the base of the apatites. There is also a dusting of drusy quartz coating the terminal portions of the apatite crystals. 8 x 8 x 3.5 cm
