Some of the most aesthetic and displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo Veinte mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This specimen is from a brand new find of this material, and literally came out of the ground a few months ago. This piece features a superb, rare, cream color, sphere-shaped radiating aggregate measuring 2.5 cm across associated with Quartz and Pyrite. The quality of the Wavellite spheres is good due to the excellent luster. It is certainly better than the majority of specimens from the last 15 years at Siglo Veinte.
