A very fine, sharp Baryte crystal nestled beautifully on a base of rich purple Fluorite, from the Denton Mine. The notched Baryte is 2.1 cm tip to tip, and the luster is superb. Mined in 1982, Barytes that are this well-defined are quite unusual. This is an aesthetic combination piece and a superb thumbnail. Ross Lillie did not keep many thumbnails in the collection, but occasionally one was just so sharp and good...it stayed! RCL 349.
