Any rich and colorful specimens of this rare copper mineral that you are likely to see on the market, and they are very rare, are probably from the same find in the 1960s, at the Christmas Mine - as this one is. Every now and then one or two turn up from an old collection. The last I saw of these in any quantity was a small batch a guy brought to a show a few years back that he had gotten from an old timer who collected them himself in the 60s. This has the typical deep sky-blue color with sparkle from the overlay of quartz microcrystals (also typical for these) .
