At first glance this is a typically ugly lead-bearing rock that is merely perhaps a reference piece. However, on closer look, you can see that it features thick sheets of native lead covering 2/3 of the top surface, and actually flaring up and off the matrix. As well, there is a curved "rope" of native lead measuring over 1 cm, on the right side. This is therefore not just the typical flat layer of squashedlead overlaying matrix, but a more flowery and 3-dimensional specimen of the style and therefore quite unusual. Still a bit ugly, but not so much as you may think from the pics!
