A large, spectacular slice through three large quartz/amethyst stalactites that grew together - each of them originating as a pair of smaller stalactites that had themselves grown together, as you can see from the double "cores" inside each of the three amethyst-lined large stalactites. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
