Yet another remarkable Dalnegorsk calcite; it is truly amazing the different forms calcites can take from this one locality. The crystals here are perfect, sharp hexagons with the most unique appearance: they are a translucent, very light pink (slightly manganoan) around the sides, and a snowy, opaque white on the large frontal faces! They sit beautifully on a plate of sparkly quartz microcrystals. The large calcite measures 4 cm tip-to-tip. BETTER In PERSON 7.8 x 5 x 3.5 cm
