A fine cabinet quartz specimen from the well-known Frosnitz Valley of Austria. A 14.3 cm, doubly terminated, glassy, transparent to translucent is aesthetically perched on partially etched crystals. The doubly terminated crystal is nicely accented with brown inclusions in the transparent area and is nearly pristine. Ex. Rolf Wein Collection, a noted Alpine specialist.
