Three generations of botryoidal malachite are in evidence on this specimen. Lustrous, deep, forest green spheres of malachite, to 2.0 cm across, are supplanted by bright green, spheres, to 1.0 cm across which then host pastel green spheres, to .5 cm across. On the periphera there are lustrous, blue, azurite spheres, to 1.0 cm across. In the center of the specimen is a druse of light and dark blue azurite. Spectacularly beautiful and LARGE plate from this venerable old locallity, now mined out and defunct!
