A beautiful and aesthetic old classic of a glassy, doubly terminated, blue baryte crystal beautifully attached to pearlescent, saddle-shaped dolomite crystals from Frizington, England. This fine baryte has highly desirable, top blue color and one of the chisel terminations is water-clear. This is an outstanding, two-sided old-time piece from this historic district. From an old European collection and accompanied by a label in German. Certainly collected prior to World War I.
