The stark form and geometry, and the accenting sidecar crystal, make this for some reason when combined my favorite of the lot. The piece features a central, elegant, tall crystal of good size for the pocket. Note the extremely sharp, well developed, bipyramidal termination on all crystals! The terminations have a complex pinacoid termination at the very top mm of each bipyramidal termination - very RARE in tourmaline! The transparency is total - you can read right through the green zones! The sharpness and symmetry here makes it a stunner. It just has to be seen in person - it leaps out in a way few Pech tourmalines, beautiful as they are, tend to do. This piece, like the others, just GLOWS with color and is really quite stunning and different from any of the more typical Pech tourmalines you may have seen before. This one is only visually slightly smaller, and a twin, to the $6000 specimen above, though the mass is less and thus the cost (to me and to you) is less.
