Plancheite is a rare secondary, hydrated copper silicate. Teal-blue to azure-blue botryoids and powder-blue crusts of plancheite richly and aesthetically cover nearly all sides of the gossan matrix on this fine specimen from the much less well-known Champie (UFO) Mine of Arizona. This piece was collected in 2007.
