A large, glittering, amazing specimen from India, a real showstopper! It is a stalactite of quartz that has been completely covered with sparkly microcrystalline apophyllite - and on the apophyllite field have grown dozens of chisel-shaped, pearly stilbite crystals. It is complete all the way around, with a narrow area of contact on back where the stalactite apparently was conjoined with the wall of the vug or cave. (Ex.Ed David Collection) .
