This is an astonishingly large, single, translucent crystal of pyromorphite from this famous and now classic locality. You simply do not see crystals of such magnitude from here! It is a true rarity for that locality for this reason, even if it wasn't an impressive large pyro crystal by any standard, old or new, and thus important regardless of its origins.
