A gemmy and lustrous, 1.1 cm, green olivine crystal is aesthetically set in a sculptural, swirl-patterned serpentine matrix with other contacted olivine crystals in this fine specimen from the Riffl Glacier of Austria. A highly representative specimen of the species and locale from the Rolf Wein Collection, a note Alpine specialist. Collected in 1972.
