From the John Ydren collection, this is an outstanding example of a rare locality specimen of catapleite from the unusual Greenland mineral deposits. The specimen is a single vertical crystal crossed by aegirines, and fully terminated atop. We are all familiar with large crystals of this size from Canada, but from Greenland this is much less common and its an attractive piece, as well.
