Most large ruby corundum crystals seen these days come from Mysore in India, and they tend to be lot clunkier than these elegant and much rarer crystals from Nepal. The two long crystals (2.5 cm) are both terminated, and are a fine bright translucent pink. Ex. Elling Collection.
