Tyuyamunite is a rare Calcium Uranium Vanadate. This species is well known for it's amazing neon yellow color. This piece is for all intensive purposes, a micromount specimen, but is nonetheless a good crystallized example featuring hundreds of small, platy bright neon yellow blades of Tyuyamunite on matrix. I have only seen a few specimens of this material from this locality, and this piece is approximately 40 years old based upon the age of the Pat Gross collection that had pieces dating from the late 1930's up to the 1980's. 1.0 x 0.7 x 0.4cm
