The Fengjiashan Mine produces an incredible variety of specimens, including some really unusual associations. Here you have gemmy-translucent, poker-chip Fluorapophyllites draped a round a very attractive Amethyst crystal. The Fluorapohyllites reach up to 2.3 cm across, and their excellent luster highlights their soft, peachy-tan color. The best of these came out around 1998-1999 in this style, and are still unique today. Rare for China, this is a select cluster in which the contrasts in color and form add greatly to the aesthetics. A very pretty miniature!
