Now familiar for its specimens of aquamarine and schorl, the Erongo lately produced this new find of translucent beryl crystals that are colorless for most of their length, but green at the tips! (the green is a lot more distinct in person - the camera did not pick up these green tips that well but they are very noticeable in person). The crystals measure to 2.5 cm in length; there is an aesthetic burst of them around the center of the specimen. A beautiful and 3-dimensional example of this new find.
