Goma tourmalines are known now for gemminess, transparency, sharp terminations, and a range of color palettes. Among that variety of colors, but with the other qualities as well, we have an unusual crystal with transparent and open rose pink color, with an evergreen-green termination. Within the pink section, there's a zone of lighter coloring that turns a pink-orange color when viewed in front of a polarized light source, exhibiting pleochroism in tourmaline. This elbaite is 30.8 grams and is an exceptionally glassy and gemmy example from this COVID-era production.
