Xenotime is an uncommon rare earth, being yttrium phosphate. This excellent and showy specimen features a cluster of gemmy, brown xenotime crystals nestled amongst an aesthetic cluster of very glassy, transparent, smoky quartz crystals. Matrix xenotime specimens are NOT that common, so even the trivial contact to the sidecar crystal and at the tip of the large smoky are not that detracting.
