Unusual color zoning and growth patterns combined with a SHOCKING bright and deep yellow color, make this piece stand out. It is simply stunning in person. Glassy and gemmy, intergrown crystals of fluorite, to 3.2 cm across, are colored a rich golden yellow hue and contrasted to a thin secondary layer of purple fluorite, 1 mm thick, that covers large edge portions of the crystals - an unusual occurrence. Ex. Ross Lillie collection. RCL#0451. This piece is one that you can just stare at for hours and try to figure out!
