From the collection of Steve Smale - a large, fine combination of big, shiny hexagons of muscovite with large crystals of deep green apatite. One apatite in particular, 4 cm in length appears almost as if it has been just stuck to the side of the cluster. The muscovites have a slight coppery color to them, which adds to the aesthetics of this specimen. These were a major discovery in the early 1990s, very popular with collectors of the time and now probably largely forgotten because they disappeared and no more came out to keep notoriety up.
