A sizeable, razor-sharp and gemmy quartz crystal is all shot through with glimmering golden needles of rutile! On the back of the crystal is a flat crystal of hematite also included by rutile, which is now familiar from this locality. The quartz has a small contact on one of its termination edges, but is otherwise in fine shape, and glass-clear to give a perfect view of the inclusions. The quartz is DOUBLY-TERMINATED (very uncommon for these), removed intact attached to the plate of hematite on which it formed!
