This is the side of a pocket completely full of sparkly crystals of sphalerite (an old accompanying label says "Zincblende auf Quarz," so it apparently spent time in a German collection). From the 1800s. The crystals are actually wine-red, just very dark. There are accenting quartz crystals here and there.
