A RICH and SHOWY specimen of gemmy and lustrous, olive-green andradite variety demantoid garnets festooned on starkly contrasting fibrous asbestos from a FAMOUS and classic Italian locality - the Franscia Mine, Malenco Valley. The large, compound crystal at the end is 7 mm. Excellent material from this well-known locality.
