A lustrous, 8 mm, well-formed crystal crowns this "tower" of crystallized Scorodite, making for a superb thumbnail. The Scorodites have a deep blue color and are partially gemmy, and the luster is superb. The crystals are accented with thesparkle of minor Pyrites, and in some cases the Scorodites have slight amber colorations. A very good Chinese thumbnail and a superb scorodite in any case, for the size and price range for a species which traditionally (before this one large find) was always priced for its weight in platinum.
