This is an older specimen of Indian apophyllite, and you can tell by the unusually elongated crystals (to 2 cm) that burst out in every direction. They are wonderfully gemmy and lustrous, and completely covering the bit of matrix at their center, surrounding it 360 degrees. From the Stoudt collection card: "purchased in 1992 from Crystals of India through the Houston Museum." A beautifully flashy specimen! For this particular style of glassy, minty green crystals, this is a great example.
