A superb Tourmaline, this is about as good as it gets. The crystal is completely gemmy from its fine termination at the top down the healed bottom. The luster is glassy, and the color grades from indicolite blue at the termination to a gorgeous sky-blue down to an iridescent Kelly green. The few tiny dings and the little bit of rubbing at the termination have no impact on the aesthetics at all. This 5 gram crystal is fantastic! Ex. Steve Smale Collection.
