A beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, 2.1 cm, deep cherry-red rhodochrosite scalenohedron dominates and is aesthetically set on sulfide matrix covered with smaller rhodochrosites and quartz crystals on this excellent and highly representative specimen from the Uchucchacua Mine of Peru.
