A lustrous, dark wine-red vesuvianite from the classic Italian locale. It has incredible luster and superb form. Sadly, there are two tiny little dings atop one edge which detract, or this would be a $1000 or more thumbnail specimen. Even as is, it is quite displayable and pretty as a reference example of this important find.
