A strange, compound curved quartz crystal set in a cabinet quartz specimen from the Richard Hauck Collection and Minas Gerais, Brazil. All of the quartz crystals are very glassy, transparent to translucent and the clay inclusions are a striking accent. The 3.7 cm, doubly terminated crystal is beautiful. The curved crystal has very interesting, compound growth faces, as you can see. Some very unusual pocket forces here. This is actually a pristine, complete-all-around floater. Older material.
