This style was very rare from the find, and highly valued (I have seen some comparable pieces priced in the several tens of thousands of dollars range!) for the aesthetic appearance of more isolation and association with crystallized quartz. These darker crystals have a matte luster that contrasts markedly with the quartz. They are translucent, and glow when backlit. The largest octohedron here reaches 3 cm across. Comes with custom carved lucite base for display.
