WOW! What a killer Legrandite miniature from finds at the Ojuela Mine in Mexico over 25 years ago! This is an important and large grouping of this shockingly beautiful rare mineral! It stands out for its color, translucency and elegant tapering toward the base, and for its local gemminess of the crystals. It is not common to obtain Legrandite in such large crystal groupings such as this. An elegant, flaring Legrandite crystal cluster with stunning and vibrant electric-yellow color. The luster is superb, and the gemminess allows it to have a dazzling shimmer. At 3.7 cm, this is an impressively-sized, well-formed Legrandite. Even brighter, even more aesthetic, and even more lemon-yellow in person! It is hard to convey in photos the shock value of the best qualities of this, or any other, Legrandite! From the old collection of Larry Conklin.
