This is a cluster of well formed, unusually lustrous, dark silvery-brown ilmenite crystals, to 4.5 cm across. The largest crystal appears to be doubly terminated. Ex. Bob Trimingham collection and according to the history noted on his label, originally handled by the legendary guru of fine minerals back in the early days, Dave Wilber, in the 1970. A very balanced, aesthetic specimen for this locality, it is certainly not as "lovably ugly" as most.
