This is an absolute MONSTER crystal of one of the most sought-after gem varieties around - the very rare tsavorite garnet, which comes from the Tsavo National Park in Tanzania. While is obviously not clear and gemmy, please keep in mind that even a very small gemmy tsavorite garnet is extremely expensive. And this thing is FOUR CENTIMETERS ACROSS! Not only that, but this crystal is not ugly or opaque, either. It IS translucent to transparent, and a fine bright grassy green. 11.6 x 7.5 x 4.0cm
