A Canadian rarity, a rich slabbed-and-polished ore specimen of a bifurcating vein of lustrous, rose-gold nickeline (nickel arsenide) from the famous Cobalt District of Canada. Interesting chemistry here, as the nickeline suddenly stops in the veins and the veins continue as quartz. The matrix appears to be a gabbro. Both the polished and unpolished (second photo) sides of the slab are shown. Weighs 270 grams.
