Prince of Wales Island is a very famous locality for fine epidotes - it is a barren and forbidding place to collect, with awful weather - so you have to really want these to go search for them. Anyhow, this is a complex compound crystal has good luster, and is multiply terminated in a series of attractive "peaks" with a light green coating. From the collection of noted California collector Charles Hansen.
