A cluster of sharp pyrite crystals has been pseudomorphed by goethite with an antique-bronze patina, creating this sculptural specimen - a 360 degree knob that was sticking into the pocket, and was broken off neatly at the bottom to remove it. From the collection of noted California collector Charles Hansen.
