No, this crystal is aesthetically not much to speak of, but some tourmaline collector will grab it for what it is - an extremely hard to find locality piece, an old-timer SOUTH DAKOTA tourmaline! It is opaque, a greenish color, quite sizeable. These never were of any great quality as compared to tourmalines from the better-known localities, so you should not judge it on this basis - again, it is a hard-to-obtain locality piece.
