A fine cluster of translucent, beautiful lavender Fluorapatite crystals from the Mawi pegmatite. The gorgeous crystal on top is .9 cm across, and the longer crystal below is 1 cm long. The luster is actually good, it's just that the rich lavender color and translucence give the crystals a distinctly waxy appearance, which in this case is not a bad thing at all. It gives the crystals 'body'. Choice and aesthetic, this is a desirable thumbnail.
