Pyromorphites from Bad Ems are some of the most sought-after in the world, not only for their aesthetics but also the fact that virtually all the good ones were mined during the second half of the 1800's. This specimen tops most with its rich color, SUPERB 'wet-look' luster, translucence, and fine hexagonal barrel form. The upper crystal is almost one full cm, and the lower crystals reach up to 1.6 cm. The floral form of the gently-hoppered barrels is a habit rarely seen, no matter what the locality. Very aesthetic - a great toenail sized specimen (either a large thumbnail or a small miniature depending on how you angle it for display) ex Sam Nasser collection
