This sharp crystal is amazingly symmetric and is like a textbook diagram! I have seen few of this quality, and those mostly in a few of the world's oldest museums. This equant, splendent, crystal of cobaltite, exhibits a bright silver color. Although it has some slight edge wear on a few edges, this is all in context, and it makes a stunning thumbnail specimen. These are old classics, now coming out really only as old collections are recycled or traded with. A crystal of this magnitude is not from anything modern here, and certainly dates back 100-200 years.
