This is a rare, fine goshenite from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia. These have smooth, glassy faces with crackly interiors, and not a bit of blue color to be seen; they are true goshenites (a lot rarer than aquamarines). The biggest crystal here is 2.2 cm long. This is an excellent and very rich plate, nicely accented with lustrous, black schorl crystal clusters.
