From the world famous alkali intrusion at the Khibiny Massif on the Kola Peninsula, a eudialite crystal sits perched on its own massive matrix. It is 2 cm across, exhibiting magenta color and a matte luster. This relatively rare species is rare in such an equant crystal, well-exposed. Although not the biggest I have seen (they come bigger form Greenland), this IS one of the biggest and best from Russian and exhibits a morphology strikingly more sharp than most from Greenland as well.
